ASet up your Partner Portal account

One-time setup. Every partner account is reviewed and approved manually by DebtHelp before it can access client data.

  1. Go to the Partner Portal sign-in page Open https://www.ccdebthelp.com/partners/login.html in your browser. If you don't have an account yet, click “No account yet? Apply for access” below the Sign in button.
  2. Complete the registration form On the “Register Your Agency” page, provide the following:
    • Your name and company / agency name
    • Work email — this becomes your login and the address every client-list export is sent to, so use a monitored inbox
    • Phone (optional)
    • Partner type — e.g. Collection agency
    • Existing creditor name & main phone on file (if any) — this helps us match you to the right records
    • A password — at least 10 characters; use a passphrase, not a single word
  3. Read and accept the terms Scroll to the bottom of the Terms and conditions box — the acceptance checkbox stays locked until you reach the end. Then tick “I have read and agree to the terms and conditions.”
  4. Submit your application Click Submit application. You'll see a confirmation that your application was received. DebtHelp reviews every application manually and emails you once your account is approved.
  5. Sign in and sign the Data-Sharing Agreement After approval, sign in at the login page and open Profile from your dashboard. Review and sign the Data-Sharing Agreement — this is required before any client list can be exported to you. Your account then shows Status: approved and you're ready to pull lists.
Tip: Once you're signed in, your dashboard reads “Welcome, [Your Name]” and shows your role and status (e.g. Role: collection agency · Status: approved). You can Sign out any time from the account card at the top.

BDownload your current client list

Do this whenever you want a fresh export of DebtHelp clients to scrub against your own accounts.

  1. Sign in to the Partner Portal Go to https://www.ccdebthelp.com/partners/login.html, enter your Email and Password, and click Sign in.
  2. Open “Request current client list” On your dashboard, under “What would you like to do?”, click the Request current client list tile (bottom-left group). It's marked Available now.
  3. Choose which list you need Pick one option:
    • Actively saving clients — clients currently active in a DebtHelp program. Best for routine scrubbing.
    • Complete client list — every DebtHelp client on record, active or not.
The export includes each client's identifying details (name, date of birth, SSN, state) and a POA flag.
  4. Request the file Click the green Email me the client list button.
  5. Confirm it's on its way You'll see a green confirmation with the record count, e.g. “Your complete client list (6,897 records) is on its way.” The file is delivered by email — you don't download it directly from the page.

COpen the encrypted file

For security, the list arrives as an encrypted archive with the passcode sent separately.

  1. Check your account email for two messages One email contains the encrypted ZIP file (with an Excel spreadsheet inside). A separate email contains the passcode to open it.
  2. Open the ZIP with an AES-256-capable tool The archive uses strong AES-256 encryption. Open it with 7-Zip, WinRAR, WinZip, or macOS Keka and enter the passcode from the second email.
  3. Open the Excel file inside Once unzipped, open the Excel spreadsheet to view and scrub the client records.
Important: Windows' built-in “Extract All” does not support AES-256 encryption and will fail or report a wrong password. Use 7-Zip (free) or another tool listed below — see Software you may need.

Software you may need

You only need one of these — any of them can open the AES-256 encrypted ZIP. If you're on Windows and don't already have one, we recommend 7-Zip: it's free, lightweight, and takes under a minute to install. Always download from the official site below.

ToolPlatformCostDownload
7-Zip RECOMMENDED Windows Free 7-zip.org
Keka macOS Free keka.io
WinRAR Windows / macOS Paid (free trial) win-rar.com
WinZip Windows / macOS Paid (free trial) winzip.com

Step-by-step: opening the list with 7-Zip (Windows)

  1. Install 7-Zip Go to 7-zip.org, download the version for your Windows (almost always 64-bit x64), then run the installer and click Install. This is a one-time setup.
  2. Save the ZIP from your email Open the email with the encrypted file attached and save the .zip to a folder you control (for example, your Desktop or a dedicated secure folder).
  3. Open it with 7-Zip Right-click the saved .zip7-ZipOpen archive (or Extract Here / Extract to…).
  4. Enter the passcode 7-Zip prompts for a password. Copy the passcode from the separate email and paste it in. Tip: paste rather than retype to avoid errors, and watch for stray spaces.
  5. Open the Excel file Once extracted, open the Excel spreadsheet inside to view and scrub the client records.
On a Mac? Install Keka, then drag the .zip onto the Keka window (or right-click → Open With → Keka) and enter the passcode when prompted. Do not use the default macOS Archive Utility — like Windows' built-in tool, it won't open AES-256 archives.
Handle with care: this file contains confidential consumer data governed by the Data-Sharing Agreement you signed. Store it securely, don't forward it outside your authorized team, and delete it when you're done scrubbing.
