SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Last Updated: June 2026 — How DebtHelp, Inc. uses text messages, and how you can opt out at any time.

These SMS / Text Messaging Terms ("SMS Terms") describe the DebtHelp, Inc. ("DebtHelp," "we," "us") text messaging program. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you accept these SMS Terms. They are part of, and incorporate by reference, our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

1. Program Description

DebtHelp sends automated account-servicing text messages to clients enrolled in our debt settlement program. These are transactional, account-related messages — for example, payment reminders, missed-payment (NSF) notices, draft confirmations, settlement updates, and other servicing notifications — sent to the mobile number you provide at enrollment.

2. How You Sign Up (Consent)

Consent to receive automated text messages is obtained at the time you enroll in our program, when you provide your mobile number and agree to be contacted. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in or purchasing any DebtHelp service. You may decline texts and still enroll, and you may opt out at any time (see "Opting Out" below).

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity (for example, the timing of your scheduled drafts or whether a payment is missed). You will only receive messages relevant to your account.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile carrier. DebtHelp does not charge a fee for the text messages themselves. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your messaging and data plan.

5. Opting Out — Reply STOP

You can cancel the text messaging program at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final confirmation message and then stop sending you account-servicing text messages. You may also opt out of text messages by calling us at (888) 254-4516. Opting out of text messages will not affect the other services we provide under your program.

6. Getting Help — Reply HELP

For help at any time, reply HELP to any message, call us at (888) 254-4516, or email info@debthelpcc.com.

7. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

Mobile information, including your phone number and consent, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in consent or text-message originator information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
